Ollie's Camp

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 August 2026

We collect nothing.

That has always been the whole idea. This page makes it official: who we are, what the apps and this website do with data, and the rights you have.

Who we are

Ollie's Camp is made by Kindergrove. That is not a company (yet), just the working name of an independent developer in the Netherlands. That person is the data controller for everything this policy covers, and you can reach us directly at hello@olliescamp.app.

What we collect

Nothing. Neither the apps nor this website collect, store, sell or share personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no crash reporting services, no tracking and no profiling.

Ollie's Camp (the launcher)

Settings, the parent PIN, downloaded media and app choices are stored on the tablet and nowhere else. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling it removes everything, and nothing is left behind on any server of ours.

If you connect Navidrome, AudioBookshelf or Immich, the tablet talks to your server directly and your credentials stay on the tablet. Those requests never pass through us.

The animals module downloads its facts and photos from olliescamp.app. Such a download carries only what every web request carries: an IP address, which our hosting provider processes briefly to deliver the files. We don't use it to identify anyone and run no analytics on it.

Children

Ollie's Camp is built for children, so we hold it to the strictest standard we know: collect nothing from anyone, children included. The apps show no ads, and nothing a child does in them is recorded by us or shared with anyone. It stays on the device.

Purchases

The apps are sold through Google Play. Google handles the payment under its own terms and privacy policy; we never see your payment details.

This website

This site runs no analytics, no trackers and no third-party embeds. It sets a single cookie, and only if you pick a language in the footer: a cookie named "lang" that remembers your choice for a year. It identifies a language, not a person.

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address for the moment it takes to deliver a page, which is inherent to serving any website. One exception to "no third parties": the browser demo streams its sample songs from SoundHelix, which sees the standard request data your browser sends it.

Your rights

The GDPR gives you rights over your personal data: access, correction, deletion, portability and objection, plus the right to complain to a data protection authority (in the Netherlands, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). Because we hold no personal data about you or your child, there is normally nothing for us to look up or delete. You are already in full control on your own device. If you believe we do hold something, email us and we will sort it out.

Changes to this policy

If the apps or this site ever start handling data differently, this page is updated first and the date at the top changes. The current version always lives at olliescamp.app.
